Hokuloa and Pele

This painting I saw in a dream in November of 2019. This dream brought me back to Big Island to live, 3 miles from Kilauea Crater and Hale Ma'u Ma'u, where Madam Pele Lives. It was finished on December 20 2020, a day before Pele came home to Hale Ma'u Ma'u, with a great eruption in Kilauea Crater, the grand planet alignment, and the Solstice. She's one of my favorites!
Hokuloa is "the great star" or the Venus morning star in Hawaiian. It is also the name of the white anthirium flowers.
The yellow butterflies are the Hawaiin butterflies that flutter around Kau to Kamuela... some of my favorites!
